Something I’ve noticed in the Bible that makes me emotional every time…

So many men had to go find God.

Moses had to climb the mountain.

Jesus went into the wilderness for 40 days.

David had to run, fight, bleed, and survive seasons that almost broke him.

They had to go to Him.

They had to separate.

They had to retreat.

They had to endure.

But when it came to women…

God came to them.

He met Hagar in the wilderness when she felt forgotten.

He came to Mary in an ordinary moment and changed her whole life.

He spoke to the Samaritan woman at the well while she was just trying to make it through the day.

He defended the woman everyone wanted to shame.

He healed the woman who had been suffering for years.

He showed up at Martha’s house when grief was sitting at the table.

He revealed Himself first to women after the resurrection.

And that makes me cry because it tells me something I think women need to hear:

God doesn’t wait for women to have time to “go find Him.”

Because He knows women are the ones carrying everything.

Women don’t always get quiet mountains.

Women don’t always get wilderness seasons alone.

Women don’t always get to run away and figure it out.

Some of us are trying to survive while raising kids.

Some of us are fighting battles while cooking dinner.

Some of us are breaking cycles while still bleeding from what broke us.

So God does what only He can do…

He comes into the kitchen.

He comes into the car.

He comes into the bathroom where you’re trying not to fall apart.

He comes into the moment where you whisper,

“I can’t do this anymore…”

And He doesn’t shame you.

He stays.

Because God has always been the kind of Father who meets women right where they are…

Not because they’re stronger.

Not because they’re perfect.

But because He knows how much they carry.

And He refuses to let them carry it alone 🙏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻 ❤️‍🔥 🤍 👸👑
